Casa del Sal is situated on the Slovenian coast in front of the Natural Park of Sečovlje saltpans, 4 km from lovely Piran and 2 km from Croatian Istria. Its view extends towards Sečovlje Salina Natural Park, where salt making still takes place.
The house has a rich history and character, which was influenced also by its inhabitants. In the 19th century Casa del Sal was the home of the salt-pan workers.
To those who love nature and sea, we offer accommodation along with substantial breakfast made with traditional Istrian and Mediterranean products, all made from ecologically homegrown vegetables and fruits.
